Hello Forum.

Is there a trick where another mask could be used for 2J74Y ?

I can't buy good parts every source I have found are selling me rubbish.

Any alternative info or good supplier would be helpful.

I have genuine ETL HC08 tool.

Hello.

I'm from England.

I get stuck with EIS repairs, I did get stuck one time with Audi cluster, this time I had a used part

The latest China parts i have will not link with ETL.I get over current error with 5 pieces.

Previous pieces 2J74Y & 4J74Y erased, did write procedure at the end failed and lost connection.

I never managed to buy high-quality chips 2J74Y in China. They for 99% sell the unknown relabelled chips. You can try to buy the chip 4J74Y, but there will be the same. It is better to buy here http://codecard.lt/electronics/2j74y/mc ... d_130.html .

I agree for 100%
Couple times I bought them here, had no problems, too.

If to buy in China, the result can't be predicted. In 90% of cases result negative. I will repeat once again: buy chips in Europe from the checked seller. Also will be all right!
And about masks of processors - you look in ETL or, better, datasheet - the memory size, address vectors, etc. We not "invent the bicycle", we take the serviceable chip, we program and we establish.
