Hi friend(s) Im jason from mauritius islant recently purachase Mb CAN tool with psa can emuator. I did everything according to the instructions. Set emuator at 500kbs ,remove jmp to prevent rewriting error. well basically it is easy. Pincode i retrived from ecu dump 95320 either VT8A or A8TV wrote it to emulator withs asci and check ASCI in dump was perfect. powering emulator wasnt an issue. When emulator is 1st powered led only illuminates once, i dont get short blinks or long blinks to give me state of emulator if it was accepted. previous engin was a 1.4 16v with MMarelli. Customer replace engine with 1.6 ecu me7.4.5. when i tried a8tv everything was cut ,throttle body, starter etc. when vt8a was programmed its ok starter turns,throttle body works etc. the only issue i get is led not illuminating whether code as been accepted,or with short blinks,not accepted. tried with 2 emulators still same ,can someone help me.thnaks very much, did the electrical guy made some wrong connections,or can hi.lo on the ecu is not correctly connected in the wiring diagram. why led not blinks.

CAN hI CAN lo well connected according to carlabimmo, diagram earth simple and 12v + simple . Only issue is led blinks one time and stops, no further led blinking suppossedly a long blink meant good. Thanks. i connected on the wires itself directly on plug , can hi,lo. earth and +12v still no led blinking .thanks please someone any ideas. regards

You tried VT8A or A8TV
Why not to try 8AVT and TVA8?

pin VT8A 100%

If pin is ok, no choice - no or wrong request from ecu. Some ideas - blown can driver (ecu), corrupted flash, missing power supply etc.
If you can make log from CAN communication, it will significally increase chances to understand what's wrong with car..

Nothing more is needed to understand this situation - need try to find problem inside car or give logs from canbus and all everything will become clear

If it works - led doesn't matter.
May be original bsi sends something, may me anything else... Who cares.
