DDE5 (e60) EDC16 alignment issue with emulator

Hi,

I have E60 530d with EDC16C31 ecu and emulator driving for 1 year. After battery change EWS sync is broken - 4A41 EWS interface fault.

I tried to connect INPA and perform CAS sync but I get procedure started window and then some TIMEOUT error: "schnittstellenfehler dwa frame o parity"

How can I resync it. Do I need to put the emulator in alignment mode before running Inpa? I don't have Emulator tool because I didn't install emulator myself...

I have solved the problem. After reading ISN with the tool, somehow the EWS mode switched from 3 to 2 and ISN was still there. I wrote EWS mode to 3 and did CAS reset with INPA. Working perfectly!
