EWS3.3 - general usage

Hello together!

I would like to make sure again that I am using the emulator correctly:

Step 1: Read ISN from EEPROM
Step 2: Solder emulator into control unit
Step 3: Re-install the control unit into the vehicle.
Step 4: Write ISN to emulator via setup utility
Done....

Or does the emulator have to be written on bench?

Maybe give me a little help on this.
