ELV emulator for w204:

• can work like ELV “classic” and “W204 mode” both - depends on jumper state, so all passenger cars with FBS3 are covered.
• in “W204” mode emulator can be personalized like ordinary replacement ELV - it accept and store hash list, passwords, VIN etc.

Classic mode:

jumper open, emulator is ready to use, no any additional configuring necessary

w204 mode:

jumper shorted. Note that emulator must be personalized to car!

how to set up emulator for w204:

• it is highly recommended to write down serial number, firmware version and production date from ELV you are going to replace.  Store these data into emulator using emu tab in MBelv software (MBelv tool is mandatory!). Now emulator is ready for personalization.
• personalize ELV emulator like ordinary ELV.
• after successful personalization it is possible to read out ELV password from emulator if you wish. Press “read”!
• To renew emulator press “Renew”. All stored personalization data is lost, so do it with care!
• Please note: in case if you are not able to personalize original ELV for w204, emulator is useless for you. With MBelv you can customize or reset emulator, but personalize it only if ALL DATA NECESSARY FOR PERSONALIZATION IS ALREADY KNOWN. Personalization process is up to you, we are not providing any support for it.
