Hello Forum.
Looking for some inspiration

This 2003 S350 is a none runner there is no communication with EIS but the key does turn.
Not had this part before I know the keys are held in the left MCU is it configuration in the other?

I can't find a good file set to test or compare with maybe someone can help ?

Read both 908, take known good EIS, copy both.
Dead MCU's is a common problem.

By the way - test donor EIS on the bench first, may be problems with diagnostic tool / gateway is your issue.

Thanks for your reply Girts, was thinking along those lines, it seems a replacement will have to be from over sea and there quiet strong money, the money isn't the problem but waiting to receive a used part in a few weeks which might be no better will sap my energy .... I will suggest the customer gets a replacement.

Are you sure this needs a gateway, the bench diag is a little better than no coms, its coms with problems and same in the car, I'm using terminal 1 diag socket ~ terminal 2 EIS
